Harmonic functions on groups
Abstract: In joint works
with Matthew Tointon, Idan Perl, Tom Meyerovitch, we have been studying
spaces of harmonic functions on discrete groups. For this talk I
will focus on the spaces of harmonic functions of certain fixed
polynomial growth. We are interested in understanding what geometric
and algebraic information can be inferred from the structure of these
spaces (for example, from their dimension). I will speak about a few
results regarding finiteness of the dimension of these spaces.
All notions such as harmonicity and polynomial growth will be defined in the talk.

Coffee will be served at 12:00 before the lecture
at Schreiber building 006
