Random planar graphs and their circle packing
Abstract: The study of
random walks on random planar graphs is a topic lying at the
intersection of probability, combinatorics and complex analysis. It is
central in contemporary 2D statistical physics due to deep conjectured
connections to conformal field theory. In this talk I will review the
area, explain the relations to circle packing theory and discuss
several recent results.
No specialised knowledge will be assumed.
