The workshop highlights several facets of interaction between symplectic geometry/topology and quantum theory. This includes new developments in mathematical quantization along with exploration of footprints of symplectic rigidity in quantum mechanics, e.g., in semiclassical dynamics and quantum measurements. The goal of the workshop is to bring together leading experts in symplectic geometry and topology on one hand, and quantum mechanics and semiclassical microlocal analysis on the other, as well as promising students and young researchers in order to create an open learning environment and the ground for a fruitful exchange of ideas with the goal of creating new visions and collaborations between experts and students alike.

Limited funding is available for graduate students and post-docs.

Scientific Organizers:

Paul Busch (University of York),

Stéphane Nonnenmacher (Université Paris-Sud),

Yaron Ostrover (Tel Aviv University),

Leonid Polterovich (Tel Aviv University).
