Symplectic and contact geometry and topology, which provide a natural setting for Hamiltonian dynamics, combines a broad spectrum of interrelated disciplines lying in the mainstream of modern mathematics. The past  two decades gave rise to several exciting developments in these fields, which on the one hand introduced powerful new mathematical tools and concepts, solving long-standing problems that were previously unattainable; and on the other hand opened challenging and exciting new questions for future research.

The goal of the workshop is to bring together leading experts in symplectic geometry and topology, as well as promising students and young researchers, and to create an open learning environment and the ground for a fruitful exchange of ideas with the goal of creating new visions and collaborations between experts and students alike.

Limited funding is available for graduate students and post-docs.

For registration please fill out the following form.

Organizers:

Peter Albers (Universität Münster), Yaron Ostrover (Tel Aviv University), Leonid Polterovich (Tel Aviv University).
