Abstract: The subject of this talk is the analysis of pure point distributions that have a pure point spectrum. It will be discussed in the framework of "quasi-crystals", inspired by the experimental discovery in the middle of 80's of non-periodic atomic structures with diffraction patterns consisting of spots.
