Random interlacements and the local geometry of random walks
Abstract:
Random interlacements offer a model for the local structure left by
random walks on large recurrent graphs, which are locally transient.
They have been the object of intensive research over the recent years
and we will discuss some of these developments in this colloquium talk,
which is aimed at a non-specialist audience.

Coffee will be served at 12:00 before the lecture
at Schreiber building 006
