Optimal Transportation and Moment Measures
Abstract:
We will consider the problem of optimal transportation of measures:
Given two probability measures in a Euclidean space, find a good map
which transports one to the other. This problem has a rich structure,
and we will discuss its connections to the Minkowski problem in convex
geometry and to toric Kahler-Einstein metrics in complex geometry. No
special prior knowledge is assumed.
