Department of Pure Mathematics
The Department of Pure Mathematics is world renowned for research achievements in various fields lying in the mainstream of modern mathematics. Among its members are laureates of prestigious international and Israeli prizes, members of the National Academies of Sciences of Israel and the USA and other distinguished institutions, invited speakers at International and European Congresses of Mathematicians, and editors of leading international mathematical journals.
In addition to the School's Colloquium, several research seminars take place within the department on a weekly basis.
