  • Discrete spectrum for substitution systems: a survey of recent results

  • Abstract:

    I will survey some results on substitution dynamical systems of various kinds: symbolic Z-actions, their suspension flows, and higher dimensional generalizations. The focus will be on systems with pure discrete spectrum.
