Speaker: Igor Gelfgat Title: Concerns in Model-Driven Approach Abstract: Model-Driven software development approach, whose primary goals are portability, interoperability and reusability (through architectural separation of concerns), is becoming widely used, after MDA (Model-Driven Architecture) appeared, which allowed a number of powerful Model-Driven tools to be available to the developer. Still, the area is not developed enough to be used as one of the core techniques for software development process, as it is not ready yet to model (and therefore generate the code for) all the aspects handled in the development stage. We will try to present a technique to introduce some behavioral aspect to Model-Driven engineering approach by modeling concerns and using them in code generation, therefore decreasing development effort required.
