On Partially Hyperbolic Dynamics on 3-Manifolds

We will discuss the following result. For a partially
hyperbolic diffeomorphism of a 3-dimensional compact manifold:
-- Stable and unstable leaves are quasi-isometrically embedded in
the universal cover of the manifold;
-- Central, central-stable, and central-unstable distributions are
uniquely integrable;
-- The induced map in 1-dimensional homologies is partially hyperbolic.
In particular, there is no partially hyperbolic dynamics on the 3-sphere.
