Title: Embedding problems over complete local domains.

Abstract: We discuss recent developments in the method of algebraic patching.
In particular the following result: if $A$ is a complete local (Noetherian)
domain of dimension exceeding 1, then every finite split embedding problem over
its quotient field is solvable. Joint work with Moshe Jarden.
