Title: Non-Hilbertianity of fields of totally S-adic numbers

Abstract:The field of totally real algebraic numbers
and, more generally, fields of totally S-adic algebraic numbers,
for S a finite set of places of a number field,
play an important role in number theory and Galois theory.
In this talk I will discuss which of these fields satisfy
Hilbert's irreducibility theorem.
