Theory of valuations and integral geometry
Abstract:
Valuations are finitely additive measures on convex compact sets.
Relatively recently it was realized that a class of smooth valuations
have a product structure. We will discuss it in the cases of isometry invariant and unitarily
invariant valuations. Then we explain how the theory of valuations can be applied to
integral geometry.
