Speaker: Aritra Banik (BGU) Title: Voronoi games Abstract: The Voronoi game is a competitive facility location problem, where two players place two disjoint sets of facilities in a demand region with an appropriate metric. A player p is said to own a part of the demand region that is closer to it than to the other player, and the player which finally owns a larger area is the winner of the game. The demand a player owns at the end the game is called the payoff of the player. In this talk I will discuss different kinds of Voronoi games.
