workshop highlights several facets of interaction between symplectic
geometry/topology and quantum theory. This includes new developments in
mathematical quantization along with exploration of footprints of
symplectic rigidity in quantum mechanics, e.g., in semiclassical
dynamics and quantum measurements. The
of the workshop is to bring together leading experts in symplectic
geometry and topology on one hand, and quantum mechanics and
semiclassical microlocal analysis on the other, as well as promising
students and young
researchers in order to create an open learning environment and the
for a fruitful exchange of ideas with the goal of creating new visions
and collaborations between experts and students alike.
funding is available for graduate students and post-docs.
