The stabilized ellispoidal symplectic embedding problem and scattering diagrams

Abstract

I will explain joint work with Kyler Siegel that solves the stabilized symplectic embedding problem for ellipsoids into rigid Fano surfaces. The key is to translate this into a problem of constructing suitable unicuspidal curves, and then to investigate this via scattering diagrams and their symmetries.
The talk will be based on the papers arXiv:2404.00561 and ArXiv:2412.14702
