I'm a professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, School of Mathematical Sciences, Tel Aviv University and the Eric and Sheila Samson Chair in Optimization.

My current research is focused on developing algorithms for cryo-electron microscopy (previously supported by the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme).

My research interests include Applied computational harmonic analysis and scientific computing, with applications to image processing, signal processing, and medical imaging, and spectral methods for high dimensional data analysis.

I am also a member of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Bioinformatics at Tel Aviv University.
