Q-vortices (vortex rings) are representing a special type of solution of complex nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation in 2D. We study stability and decomposition of both stationary (included in the manuscript) and moving (the work in progress) vortices. In addition to the Q-compacton parameters (detailed on the Q-balls page) we introduce m -- the vortex mode into initial condition (compacton could be considered as a "m=0 vortex"):
